The qualification course is 40 rounds. The minimum passing score is 32 points. Hits in the 4 and 5 scoring area (torso and head) count as 1 point each. Bring a holster and spare magazine or speedloader. NO SHOULDER HOLSTERS, POCKET HOLSTERS, OR CROSSDRAW HOLSTERS PLEASE.
For retired Law Enforcement Officers and certain other qualified persons, Ex Umbra Defense Solutions delivers the qualification course that qualifies you to carry concealed nationwide under the federal Law Enforcement Officer Safety Act - LEOSA (aka HR218). We schedule several sessions a month for your convenience. The fee for the course is $50.00, which includes range fees. We can provide a semi-automatic pistol or revolver for an additional $10.00 fee.
